I staged this arrangement of dead roses on a old wooden deck to make a interesting layout for a photograph!
Dead Roses finds beauty in the passage of time. Deep burgundy roses in varying stages of drying rest across weathered wooden boards, with one fallen red petal isolated in the open space of the composition. The aged flowers, faded wood grain and deliberately spacious arrangement create a contemplative still life centered on beauty, memory and impermanence.
