This print is of two photographs taken and put into a composition in Photoshop. The first photo taken was a self photo I took of myself posing as in agony on viewing received bills. The second photo was one I took of a cracked egg exposing the yolk!
Dark humor and surreal visual storytelling collide in Bill Suicide. The staged photographic composition depicts a man slumped over a kitchen table with his head obscured by a cracked oversized egg-like object and its spilled contents. Papers marked as bills, a hammer and the domestic kitchen environment turn the scene into an exaggerated visual metaphor involving financial pressure and frustration. Provocative, unusual and deliberately absurd, this is a conversation piece for collectors drawn to conceptual photography.
This composition is by the artist Michael Thompson aka MikeThaArtist of Splif City!
